EPCM: SENET

SENET is one of the leading providers of processing solutions on the African continent.
SENET, a wholly owned subsidiary of DRA, has established itself as a leading contractor in the Lump-Sum Turnkey and EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) supply of processing plants and large materials handling projects across Africa.

For almost three decades, SENET has provided project management, multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, logistics management, and construction services to the mining, mineral processing, infrastructure, and materials handling industries.

SENET’s services include the capability and experience to take a process project from conceptual study, through to commissioning, providing services and deliverables including process design, test work supervision, process definition, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and process data sheets.
To date, SENET has completed more than 200 projects and facilities, as well as over 300 studies, most of which are in Africa, and in which the scope of work has included a variety of mineral/metallurgical process plants, crushing and screening plants and bulk materials handling facilities for mining and industrial applications.

SENET prioritises total safety culture. The health, safety and well-being of all stakeholders is central to the organisation and at the heart of its safety culture is People-Based-Safety. This ethos highlights the safety of people, and the communities in which SENET operates, as a priority in every action.

Barminco are one of the world’s largest hard rock underground mining services companies, with operations in Australia, North America, and Africa.

For 30 years Barminco has been at the forefront of modern, fully mechanised underground mining in Australia, and they continue to use their depth of knowledge and experience to push underground mining further.

They have one of the world’s largest fleets of underground mining equipment of purpose-built and ultramodern underground mining equipment.  Currently Barminco are developing more than 120 kilometres and mining in excess of 10 million tonnes per year and growing rapidly.

Barminco’s underground mining services in Africa are provided through African Underground Mining Services (AUMS), a leader in providing underground mining contract services to the African mining industry.  AUMS has provided unmatched mechanized underground mining services in Africa since 2007.

Barminco’s contract surface mining and exploration drilling services in Africa are provided through African Mining Services (AMS).  AMS is one of the largest contract mining companies in Africa.  Their mining services encompass planning and exploration, mine development, production, and closure and reclamation
