Tasiast Gold Mine

Tasiast Gold Mine, Mauritania

The project was identified, acquired, explored, developed, and put into production by members of the team.

Today it is a world-class gold project that is owned and operated by Kinross Gold, with a gold inventory of some 20 million ounces.

Mbalam‐Nabeba Iron Ore Project

MbalamNabeba Iron Ore Project, Cameroon

Members of the team were responsible for the identification, acquisition, and funding of this world class iron ore project in Cameroon.  It is now poised for development with the recent increase in the iron ore price.

Buckreef Gold Poject

Buckreef Gold Poject, Tanzania

Acquired and arranged funding for a large gold exploration portfolio in north-western Tanzania, in the Lake Victoria goldfields of the Mwanza region, which sat along the same strike as the Geita Gold Mine operated by AngloGold Ashanti.

Waterberg Coal Project, South Africa

Acquired and funded the development of an export thermal coal and power platform, including funding a definitive feasibility study for its development.  Through its 3.4 billion tonne coal resource, it has the potential to be a world class project.
